Not too far from the heart of town, yet just far enough to offer reprieve, sits a modern-farmhouse inspired home. When building their dream home, this client drew on their love for all of the natural elements of the outdoors – hearty textures, wood tones, creamy whites, and lots of windows to let the outside in. Meet: the AH Organic Farmhouse.
As part of our Signature Series, the AH Organic Farmhouse took many of its finishes to luxury quality and we couldn’t love the finished product more. Today, we are sneaking in through their friends’ entry to take a peek into the mud room, kitchen, and guest wing of the home.
Pulling up past the circle drive, guests are able to enter through the friends’ entrance located next to the garage. This separate entry offers an intimate touch to the home, a nod to its farmhouse inspiration.
Through the friends’ entry, guests are immediately welcomed into the beautiful, light-drenched mudroom. Complete with an oversized drop zone, the space accommodates the family’s need for hidden storage. To offset the white walls, the client chose to use Benjamin Moore’s Tyler Gray for the custom drop zone, which paired perfectly with the stone aesthetic of the flooring.
From the drop zone, friends and family spill into the bright and open kitchen, where they are able to see through to the front yard and into the rest of the home. One of our favorite touches in this home is the beautiful plaid carpet runner on the stairs and we think the clients’ dog is a fan too π
Within the kitchen, the wood and metal accents play well together, defining the AH Organic Farmhouse’s aesthetic. The custom range hood by Russellbilt is a true work of art. We were absolutely elated with how the piece turned out. Aside from the stronger elements of the space, the marble countertops and custom inset cabinetry by Six Branch Custom Woodworking offer soft touches, bringing the entire vision to life.
In the sink area, the AH Organic Farmhouse lives up to name with the undermount white farmhouse sink (this Kohler one is just our favorite), a full marble backsplash, and windows that crank open to let in lots of fresh air.
Turning past the kitchen, guests are welcomed into the guest wing of the house. The clients truly wanted this area to feel spa-like and with the natural light, white linens, and soft bathroom selections, we feel like they achieved just that.
Loving everything you’ve seen so far of the AH Organic Farmhouse? We can’t wait to take you through the rest of it… stay tuned!
Love it!
