We’ve always said we believe that living well begins at home, and it’s definitely true during the holidays. Around the table, so many memories are made. We visited the AH Organic Farmhouse for a taste of all things fall. We’re breaking down this simple, yet stunning organic, fall tablescape for your seasonal events, or even just a dressed-up dinner in. This farm-to-table look is easy enough for anyone! Every great table setting begins with a strong anchoring piece: the centerpiece arrangement. We love this one because it cost us absolutely nothing to make! We began with an oversized, stoneware pot that gave us a good amount of height for the center of the table. Click here for a great similar option! We then foraged outdoors for pieces to build the arrangement, specifically looking for plants within the orange/brown color family and with varying shapes and textures. This particular arrangement includes dried hydrangeas, native grasses, small branches and twigs, and dried cattails.
Before setting down the arrangement, we chose to dress the table up with a thin runner of a neutral-colored chiffon ribbon and a more bold velvet green ribbon. This gave us a great guide for placing the other decor pieces, which included dried gourds and various pears and whole nuts.
We decided to let the runner of decor do the talkin’ and kept the actual table setting minimal, only using bare plates (no chargers for this organic look!), simple silver flatware, and blown glass drinkware. These wine glasses are also a great option for all occasions. We couldn’t, however, pass up the opportunity to add in another texture with the cream, linen napkins. Ours are antique, but here’s a great similar option.
We feel like the AH Organic Farmhouse was kind of made for fall 😉 The plaid carpet, stone and wood accents, the hearth and oversized windows that let the outdoors in… it’s all too perfect. Looking to add some of the AH Organic Farmhouse to your own home? Check out these beautiful chairs and while this one-of-a-kind table was sourced from The Painted Sofa in Kansas City, Pottery Barn has an extremely similar option here.
Like anything, what makes your fall tablescape most beautiful are the unique and organic touches you add from your own home. As you design your table, we encourage you to pick out the pieces that bring the outdoors inside.
